DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deitectic technicians assisis dietittain in evalating, organazing, and conducting nutrition service and program for school, hospitals, and industyy

They:

·      Gather and evaluate diet histories.

·      Assist in planning patient meals.

·      Provide nutritional counseling

·      Conduct food preparation and service.

·      Maintain records.

Students wanting to become dietetic technicians should graduate from high school with a well rounding program. High school business courses may provide helpful.
